Our Advisory Board is composed of distinguished experts with deep experience across the industry, each of whom is recognized as a leader in their respective field.
SurroStudy has established an independent Advisory Board comprised of highly respected professionals representing a broad cross-section of the assisted reproductive technology and surrogacy industry, including attorneys, agencies, IVF professionals, mental health professionals, and other experienced leaders. The Advisory Board was intentionally created to bring diverse perspectives together in support of advancing ethical standards, best practices, and thoughtful innovation in surrogacy home evaluations.
The Advisory Board serves solely in an advisory capacity, and not operational in any manner. Its purpose is to annually review SurroStudy’s policies, procedures, and overall approach to help ensure the company continues to reflect the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and quality within the industry. The Board does not participate in the management or operation of SurroStudy, does not direct or supervise staff, and does not make operational decisions on behalf of the company.
To protect the confidentiality of all participants, Advisory Board members do not have access to SurroStudy’s platform, completed SurroStudies, questionnaires, photographs, supporting documents, client identities, or other confidential client information. Access to such information is limited exclusively to SurroStudy’s authorized operational personnel, as listed on the operations team page, in accordance with the company’s confidentiality and information governance policies.
By bringing together experienced professionals from across the industry while maintaining a strict separation between advisory functions and day-to-day operations, SurroStudy benefits from meaningful industry guidance while preserving the independence, confidentiality, and integrity of every evaluation it performs.

SurroStudy was founded to fill a critical need: objective, independent surrogacy home evaluations that are useful to clinics, attorneys, agencies, and intended parents for decision-making and are defensible in multi-jurisdictional contexts. We recognized that when the same organization conducts placement, intake, and evaluation there is a real risk of perceived or actual conflicts of interest.
To solve this problem, SurroStudy brought together licensed social work professionals, clinical advisors, and legal counsel to build a trusted, surrogate-specific evaluation model.
We continue to evolve our model through partner feedback, regulatory changes, and peer review so that SurroStudy remains a trusted, independent resource in surrogacy care.
We have a team of LSWs that have completed our SurroStudy Certification process and ready to be scheduled to help.
